Course Description:

In this Course students will advance their knowledge in Welding Fundamentals and Shielded Metal ARC Welding theoretically as well practically. This course is designed to cover the following:

• Learning Welding Joints & Positions
• Distinguishing Shielding Gasses & Fluxes
• Identifying & Preventing Welding Defects
• Welding Electric Polarity
• How to Weld SMAW
• SMAW Equipment
• SMAW Welding Troubleshooting
• Electrode compositions
• Identifying Electrodes

16 Weeks [190 Hours)

Target Audience:

This course is mainly designed for beginners/ students or for people who has welding experience and want to refresh or learn more from a theoretical and a skill based prospective.

Assessment Type:

Post course evaluation will be conducted in both manners theoretical (written exam) and practical (preparing a certain material and welding it by following the WPS instructions), marking each part out of 50 giving a summed result out of 100.
