Job Description 

The teacher will be responsible for providing instruction on a wide range of computer science courses, including programming (Python, Java, and C++), web programming (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL), robotics and IoT (Lego, Arduino, and Rasbery Pi), and databases.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Teach students about the various facets of programming languages, cloud computing, AI, and other relevant technologies or tools related to robotics and IoT.
  • Teach students how computers work, including the fundamental science and mathematics behind their operation, as well as the hardware and software built on those foundations.
  • Teach students how to write computer programmes, algorithms, and programming languages.
  • Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
  • Read and stay abreast of current topics in computer science.
  • Supervise student projects and assist other departments with collaborative ones.
  • Use various curriculum resources.
  • Design and integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
  • Utilise curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
  • Develop incentives to keep participants in class.
  • Keep track of grades and grade papers, as well as perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Assess students' progress and achievements.
  • Develop professional relationships with companies, agencies, and education providers.
  • Collaborate with program coordinators to ensure that initiatives are successfully completed.
  • Participate with other departments or teachers in projects and competitions inside and outside the center. It involves representing the centre in both local and global competitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in robotics, IoT, or any related certification.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology.
