Course Description:
This course will teach the learner how to complete routine installation activities including the installation of circuit wiring/cabling, enclosures and equipment (plant), the installation of circuit protection devices, the installation of earthing arrangements to electrical circuits and connected equipment, and circuit testing to confirm safety and integrity of the installed circuit/system. The course Involves the installation, commissioning, inspection, testing and fault diagnosis of electrical plant and its associated cabling and equipment.
Commonly this involves types of equipment such as electrical distribution systems, generators, electric motors, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
To achieve the ICE level 2 Award candidates must successfully complete the following:
- ECITB International Health & safety Passport (IHSP) Foundation
- A minimum of 2 Electrical Installation Skill Specific Technical Tests (Levels2)
- A minimum of 2 Skill Specific technical Tests (Level2)
