In collaboration with Tamkeen, the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) is pleased to offer an opportunity to enrol in the Apprenticeship Programme, which combines academic training at the centre with practical, on-the-job training at partner companies.

• Programme Duration: 3 years (comprising 30% academic training at the centre and 70% on-the-job training).
• Qualification Type: Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive an internationally accredited qualification from Pearson – UK, at Level 4 or Level 5 in one of the following engineering specializations:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Process and Operations Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Welding and Fabrication Engineering
• Support: The programme is fully funded by Tamkeen, and trainees will also receive a monthly stipend of no less than BHD 300.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The applicant must be a Bahraini national.
2. Age must be between 16 and 40 years at the time of application.
3. The applicant must hold a relevant academic qualification (Industrial Secondary Certificate or equivalent, or a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in the same specialization).
4. The applicant must be unemployed or able to commit full-time to the training programme.
5. The applicant must successfully pass the personal interview and entry assessment.
