Job Description:

Nasser Centre for Science and Technology is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Science Lab Technician to join its academic support team. This position is open to fresh graduates who are eager to gain practical laboratory experience and support science education in a professional academic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratories for practical classes and experimental activities.
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Assist instructors during laboratory sessions and demonstrations.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support basic laboratory experiments, measurements, and record-keeping.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to the relevant department.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Chemistry or Biology is mandatory.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
